23 years active duty military, 3 years enlisted in USAF, 20 years officer in USNR. Finally finished college in 1976. Retired from Navy 1997. Since then, went back to school and got a B.A. in Music (Piano Performance) in 2003. Taught piano part-time and accompanied other musicians for 10 years or so; doing that much less now. Became volunteer environmental activist @ 2008. Was very active with 350.org, now very active with Sierra Club.
